- In view of the exam in lecture next Thursday, lab next week will be optional.
Dr. Geaghan will not assign another homework next week, and students are only required to turn in their due homework assigned this past week.
I will be available via email over the weekend and holiday to answer questions students may have while preparing for the exam.
Since the campus is closed Tuesday, I will not hold my Tuesday office hour; to make up for it (and to help those having questions about the material) I will hold office hours on Wednesday (in addition to my usual Thursday office hours) from 9:00 to 10:30.
Students may turn in their due homework next week either in Room 11 (the lab room) after the exam until 4:45, or during one of my scheduled office hour times.
I will return each student's graded homework (due this week) to them, when they turn in their due homework next week.
- The confusion regarding when and where students in EXST 4087 should turn in their homework assignments has been resolved.
Dr. Geaghan and I have determined that the most efficient method to handle homework would be for students to turn in the homework to me in the lab/recitation period each Thursday.
I will grade the homework assignments, email the grades to Dr. Geaghan, and return the graded assignments to students the following week.
Thus, students will be expected to come to the lab session each week, if only to turn in their assignment and obtain their previous week's assignment.
Note that students are not obligated to remain in the lab after the homework is turned in and returned, if they don't wish to stay and work on their current assignment.
So, starting next Thursday (6/29), all students in EXST 4087 will come to the lab when Dr. Geaghan completes his lecture, turn in their due homework, and obtain their homework from the preceding week.
