This diskette contains data for virtually all eamples and end of
chapter exercises.

EXAMPLE DATA. These are in the subdirectory called EXAMPLE. These
ara all coded for the SAS System and usually include the SAS code
to perform the calculations as illustrated. The file names are:
	
	FW**X&&,
where 
	** refers to the Chapter
	&& refers to example number

The files may have an extension which is not important.

EXERCISE DATA. These are in the main directory of the diskette. 
Although all are coded for the SAS System, almost all have been 
arranged into columns corresponding to variables and rows 
corresponding to observations; the variable names are in the
INPUT statement where the $ sign indicates a character variable.
In a few small data sets the values are entered in sequence.
The file names are:

using the same convention indicated for examples.
